The syllabuses that are being covered in the courses are generally prepared prior to every session each year and it is actually not possible to revise it as per latest trend.
Companies nowadays prefer hiring candidates whose skill set is as per the market requirement rather than those for whom they need to arrange training sessions in order to upgrade their skills. In such competitive market when you have thousands of people applying and searching for their own dream job, it is only training and upgrading one’s own skill is what would mark the difference in shortlisting candidates profile for required positions. The observation is such that people with certified knowledge on various new upcoming technologies are being preferred. It becomes an easy point of demarcation for recruiters. Candidates who have various skill sets in their bag are seen to get more job opening options and even get their job faster in comparison to other candidates.
Generally, we hear about various institutes which provide us with certification courses but how many of us take interest in knowing more about it? The question that strikes us often is: Why do we need to go through this courses which are provided by various training institutes? What would be the benefits if we are enrolling ourselves in such courses? Is it actually worth it?
The course fee which is generally been charged for such courses might seem to be a waste of money and time for many. The only way of understanding such situations is taking some time out and thinking that if learning the skill sets which are being taught by various institutes can bring about a change in our career growth and graph then why not gain knowledge about the same. Rather than thinking about the present scenario wherein we need to invest the amount to earn expertise about various new technologies, we need to think about what future has in store for us if at all we try upgrading our skill sets.
From the time when we are on the verge of completing our school days and entering into college life, we start thinking that what next should we do? We more or less know the stream or course line which we want to pursue but what we fail to think or ponder about is what the requirement of the present market is. We feel that whatever professional courses we pursue would be enough to land ourselves in our dream job. But is very important for us to question ourselves that should we try upgrading our skill sets as per the present market scenario or patiently keep searching for jobs with the skill sets which we already have till the time we don’t get one?
